Osborne magnetic hammers will give long service if properly used and stored. The magnetic end must be used only for setting a tack in place. The striking end is for driving tacks home. The magnetic head should never be left in contact with other steel objects. Should an Osborne hammer lose its magnetism, Osborne will recharge it free, if sent prepaid to the factory.
