Triumph is an embossed leather pattern made in the image of a real crocodile. This top-grain leather is tanned using a specific process which ensures that the leather will retain its decorative embossing for years to come. The pattern repeat is very similar to that of a striped fabric. Since the flow of the design is vertical you will have to plan carefully for the application and make allowances for the waste factor that Triumph leather may require. Triumph is layered with water-based finishes and glazes that give this leather its rich deep color. It is finished using a clear, highly durable top coat that allows Triumph to pass all required automotive specs. All finishes are applied by hand. Inconsistencies caused by natural markings such as healed scars, scratches, neck and belly wrinkles are apparent throughout each hide and should be appreciated. Like most pure aniline leathers prolonged exposure to light will cause them to fade.
